Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 12, 2026

OlliLlama is operated by Scott Rozier.

OlliLlama ("OlliLlama," "we," "us") provides a missed-call recovery service for local service businesses. This policy describes what information we collect when a business uses OlliLlama, and when that business's customers call a number connected to OlliLlama, how we use it, and the choices available.

Information we collect

Business account information. When a business signs up, we collect the business name, owner/contact name, email address, existing business phone number, the number where the owner wants to be notified of leads, business type, and time zone.

Call and message metadata. When a customer calls a business's recovery number, we record the caller's phone number, the time and status of the call, and — where our current consent process applies — whether and how the caller indicated they wanted to receive a follow-up text message. If the caller replies by text, we record that reply and its timestamp so the business can see and respond to it.

Consent evidence. We keep a record of the specific consent mechanism used for each call (currently, a spoken disclosure followed by a keypress), when it occurred, and the outcome, so that we and the business can demonstrate that a message was sent only when it was authorized to be sent.

Technical information. Like most web services, our infrastructure providers may log standard technical information (such as request timestamps) as part of operating the service securely.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the missed-call recovery service: detecting a missed call, presenting the consent disclosure, sending an authorized recovery text message, delivering the caller's reply to the business, and maintaining a record of what happened on each call for the business's own reference and for compliance purposes. We do not use a caller's phone number to send them marketing messages, and we do not use it on behalf of any business other than the one they called.

Mobile phone numbers are not sold or shared for unrelated marketing

No mobile information, including text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, is shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers collected through the missed-call recovery service are used solely to operate the service described in this policy, and may be shared only with the service providers listed below to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us.

Message frequency and rates. A caller who opts in receives one automated text message per missed call, as described in our SMS Terms. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to operate OlliLlama, including a telecommunications provider to place and receive calls and text messages, a database provider to store account and call information, and a hosting provider to run the application. These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes.

No health information

OlliLlama is not designed or intended to collect, store, or transmit protected health information, and businesses may not use OlliLlama for that purpose. See our Terms for details.

Retention

We retain call and message records for as long as a business's account is active, and for a limited period afterward, so that consent and compliance records remain available if needed. We do not retain data indefinitely without reason, and we expect to offer businesses more control over retention as the product matures.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle, including access controls that keep each business's data separate from every other business's data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

A caller who receives a text message from a business using OlliLlama may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving further messages from that business, or HELP for assistance. See our SMS Terms for details. Business owners may contact us to ask about the information we hold about their account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will update the effective date above when we do.
