Terms of Service

OlliLlama is operated by Scott Rozier.
These Terms govern use of OlliLlama by a business ("you," "your business") that signs up for the service. By creating a OlliLlama account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
Service description
OlliLlama helps a business recover calls it was unable to answer. When a call to your existing business number goes unanswered and your carrier forwards it to your dedicated OlliLlama number, OlliLlama presents a brief spoken disclosure and asks the caller to press 1 if they would like a text message. Only if the caller presses 1 does OlliLlama send one automated text message starting the conversation; if the caller does not press 1, no text is sent. Once that conversation has started, you and the caller may continue texting back and forth as needed — the missed-call recovery feature is not limited to a single message for the whole conversation, only for the initial automated one. Your existing phone number and normal call-answering behavior are never changed by OlliLlama, and answered calls never involve OlliLlama at all. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not use OlliLlama to:
- send unsolicited, unlawful, or spam messages, or send messages beyond the single reactive missed-call reply OlliLlama is designed to send;
- send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages through the missed-call recovery feature, which is intended for direct, non-marketing responses to a caller's own inquiry;
- collect, transmit, or store protected health information (PHI) or otherwise use OlliLlama in connection with a healthcare workflow subject to HIPAA — this use is prohibited;
- use OlliLlama in a way that violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, CTIA guidelines, carrier requirements, or other applicable telecommunications or consumer protection law; or
- attempt to bypass, disable, or misrepresent the consent mechanism OlliLlama uses before sending a message.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide, for configuring conditional call forwarding correctly, and for your own compliance with laws applicable to your business and your communications with your customers. You represent that you have the right to use the phone numbers you provide to us.
Telecommunications dependencies
OlliLlama depends on third-party telecommunications infrastructure and on your own carrier's conditional call-forwarding feature working correctly. We are not responsible for interruptions, delays, or failures caused by your carrier, your phone, or our telecommunications providers that are outside our reasonable control.
Availability
We aim to keep OlliLlama available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. OlliLlama is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during this early stage of the product.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or if we reasonably believe your use creates legal, security, or telecommunications-compliance risk to OlliLlama, our providers, or other users. You may stop using OlliLlama at any time.
Disclaimers
OlliLlama does not guarantee that any specific call will be recovered, that any caller will respond, or that any lead will result in business for you. OlliLlama is a recovery aid, not a replacement for your existing phone system.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use of OlliLlama after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
